CRT Performance, LLC was founded in 2005 by Jeff and Tammy Chambers. We have been long-time Ford racers, competing in both the Fun Ford and NMRA series for more than a decade. Over that decade, we have become known for our knowledge and expertise in performance Fords, and particularly the Mustang. The Chambers' red, yellow and orange Mustang GT is a regular and recognizable car on the track and in the enthusiast magazines. We so regularly traveled and participated as a family that we were dubbed Chambers Racing Team by friends and competitors on the circuits. The Chambers Racing Team moniker was carried over into our venture business, CRT Performance, LLC.
For many years, we have performed performance modifications and repairs for customers, working out of the garage at our home. By 2004 the number of customers, and volume of meaningful work, had grown to the point the we felt that we could make a full-service performance speed shop successful. After months of planning, our dream became a reality with the opening of CRT Performance in the late spring of 2005.
As a small privately owned speed shop, we pride ourselves on providing honest and sincere service to all our customers. No high pressure sales tactics and no empty sales pitches here. At CRT Performance, you'll get honest answers to your questions, even if means that we won't get the sale. We also pride ourselves on quality service, both on the rack and on the dyno. We won't rush the job or cut corners just to move more volume through the shop. We want every car to leave CRT Performance with a happy, satisfied customer behind the wheel. This may mean that we'll take a little longer than the ordinary repair shop down the street, but it also means that we'll pay attention to the smallest of details to make sure the job is done right.
